We put everything in the right light. Do you have a flair for visuals and love using technical aids to create a beautiful stage set? As a lighting/visuals technician, you do a lot to make visitors to our church services feel at home. From the atmospheric lighting of the stage to the dynamic design of effects on the LED wall - your creativity and technical skills create an inviting and inspiring environment. Your work also ensures that actors are optimally visible, emotions are supported and the message is clearly conveyed.
Tasks
- Stage lighting to create an inviting atmosphere
- Use of white light for optimum visibility of actors and objects
- Designing effect and coloured light to influence the mood and aesthetics
- Creation and control of effective backgrounds on the LED wall during worship
- Preparation: Creation of suitable settings for all songs and programme items
- Live control of the lighting system and the visuals on the LED wall during the service
- Collaboration with media technicians and video technicians to ensure a harmonious overall concept
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of lighting and design is an advantage
- An eye for detail and modern aesthetics
- Ability to work in a team and reliability
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with new technology and to undergo continuous further training
- Participation in irregular team workshops for exchange and further training
Development opportunities
- Coordination and support of other events as a lighting/visuals technician
- Co-design and further development of concepts and the technical infrastructure
