We put everything in the right light. Do you have a flair for visuals and love using technical aids to create a beautiful stage set? As a lighting/visuals technician, you do a lot to make visitors to our church services feel at home. From the atmospheric lighting of the stage to the dynamic design of effects on the LED wall - your creativity and technical skills create an inviting and inspiring environment. Your work also ensures that actors are optimally visible, emotions are supported and the message is clearly conveyed.

Tasks

These are typical activities for this job profile.
  • Stage lighting to create an inviting atmosphere
  • Use of white light for optimum visibility of actors and objects
  • Designing effect and coloured light to influence the mood and aesthetics
  • Creation and control of effective backgrounds on the LED wall during worship
  • Preparation: Creation of suitable settings for all songs and programme items
  • Live control of the lighting system and the visuals on the LED wall during the service
  • Collaboration with media technicians and video technicians to ensure a harmonious overall concept

Requirements

You should have these skills or willingness to work.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting and design is an advantage
  • An eye for detail and modern aesthetics
  • Ability to work in a team and reliability
  • Willingness to familiarise yourself with new technology and to undergo continuous further training
  • Participation in irregular team workshops for exchange and further training

Development opportunities
