Do you love creating added value through innovative software solutions? As part of our IT team in the area of software development, you will play an active role in shaping our church's digital platforms. From developing your own applications, customised plugins and automations to implementing new interfaces - your work will help to make internal and public software solutions functional, user-friendly and future-proof.

You will work closely with our web design team and be responsible for the technical implementation, quality assurance and documentation. Together, we develop innovative solutions to drive digitalisation in our church and reach people online.

Tasks

These are typical activities for this job profile.
  • Complementing the web design team in the preparation and specialised programming of our web platforms
  • Development of future-oriented applications, backends, plugins, automations and interfaces for internal and public platforms
  • Planning and implementation of development cycles, including documentation and quality assurance
  • Technical troubleshooting and finding solutions quickly
  • Collaboration in a team for the strategic development of our digital infrastructure

Requirements

You should have these skills or willingness to work.
  • Experience or points of contact in development with web and server technologies as well as relational databases (PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and other technologies)
  • Structured and high-quality way of working
  • Analytical and abstract thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability
  • Willingness to familiarise yourself with new technologies and systems
