Do you love creating and developing a stable and secure IT infrastructure? As the person responsible for IT Services - Infrastructure, you will ensure that all IT systems run smoothly and that the technical foundations for our work and events are provided. You are the contact person for networks, workstations, servers and applications and ensure that data security and data protection are guaranteed at all times.

In this role, you are not only responsible for maintenance and optimisation, but also for the further development of the IT landscape. Through your work, you enable the smooth running of the office, event technology and communication - and thus make an important contribution to the mission of our church.

Tasks

These are typical activities for this job profile.
  • Integration, maintenance and further development of the IT infrastructure (networks, workstations, telephony, printers, data storage)
  • Technical support and maintenance of network components such as firewalls, servers and switches
  • Optimisation of the infrastructure through regular updates and adaptations to new requirements
  • Provision and maintenance of various applications and systems
  • Ensuring data security and data protection in all areas of IT
  • Quick and effective rectification of faults and interruptions
  • Support and communication with users as well as technical advice

Requirements

You should have these skills or willingness to work.
  • Completed training or relevant experience in the field of network technology, server infrastructures and IT support
  • Knowledge of web servers, web technologies and container environments (e.g. Docker)
  • Sensitivity to security and data protection
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to find solutions quickly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and a structured way of working

Development opportunities

  • Planning and implementation of larger IT projects, e.g. migrations or the design and introduction of new applications
  • Further training in relevant areas such as network security, cloud solutions or automation
  • Integration into other technical areas such as event technology or media production
