YouTube Creator

In consultation, you will run the seetal chile YouTube channel. You are responsible for the post-production of livestreams, the publication of videos, the optimisation and reorganisation of the existing YouTube channel as well as the development and implementation of measures to increase reach. You are part of the multimedia | social media team, work closely with our video studio and contribute to seetal chile's cross-channel strategy «Livestream 500(0)».

Tasks

These are typical activities for this job profile.
  • Editing and post-production of livestreams
  • Upload and publish video content
  • Upload and channel maintenance: title, description, tags, playlists, thumbnails.
  • Insertion and management of YouTube elements: Info cards, end screens, chapter markers, possibly subtitles/CC.
  • Reorganisation, further development and maintenance of the channel: playlists, channel structure, channel banner, channel description.
  • Creation and implementation of measures to increase reach
  • Analysing performance data (YouTube Analytics) and deriving improvements; reporting to the «Livestream 500(0)» project team and functional unit manager.
  • Developing ideas for content formats, contributing to the editorial plan and content strategy
  • Compliance with legal requirements (copyright, music licences, imprint/notices)
  • Possibly: Occasional creation of simple graphics or animations (e.g. intro/outro, belly bands, etc.)
  • Possibly: Creation of short versions/teasers (e.g. shorts, reels) from the livestreams

Requirements

You should have these skills or willingness to work.
  • Experience in editing (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) or interest and willingness to familiarise yourself with this area
  • Experience with YouTube Studio, end screens, cards, playlists and YouTube SEO (title, description, tags) or the interest and willingness to familiarise yourself with these areas
  • Understanding of YouTube analytics and metrics (watch time, CTR, impressions, retention) or interest and willingness to familiarise yourself with them
  • Independent, autonomous way of working and good communication skills
  • Creativity and flair for storytelling, dramaturgy and thumbnail design
